Samsung officially announced their first bada phone, SAMSUNG Wave S8500 at the recently concluded MWC. The Samsung Wave S8500 is the first Samsung smartphone to run the Bada OS. The Samsung Wave S8500 has 3.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution 480 x 800 pixels. Super AMOLED technology offers clearer images and sharper than usual AMOLED. Sony has launched the new BDP-S470 stand-alone Blu-ray 3D-ready player. The Sony BDP-S470 will be able to show 3D video in Full HD 1080p, when a firmware update is released in the summer, of course you will need a 3D capable HDTV to view it in 3D. “Consumer excitement for 3D is unbelievably high and Sony is poised to deliver the best possible in-home experience,” said Sony home division VP Chris Fawcett, in a statement.
