Viliv N5 MID Tablet PC is tablet with a size of 4.8 inches with Windows 7 and powered with Intel Atom which is a mobile internet device. It’s a clamshell device sporting a touchscreen, appropriately sized keyboard, and Intel Atom processor.

Samsung has announced a gamut of devices in Singapore at the Communic Asia tradeshow, the Samsung Wave 2 (S5250) and Samsung S5330 Wave 2 Pro. The Wave series includes Samsung’s propriety Bada OS, and its first used in Samsung Wave S8500. Samsung Wave 2 and the Wave 2 Pro are handsets designed to service the cheaper end of the scale while still using the brand’s new Bada OS – the first of which is the feature-packed Samsung Wave.

Sony Ericson has introduced the latest member of its Xperia family, the Xperia X8 Android Smartphone. The SE XPERIA X8 is still under development and is code-named Shakira, it will apparently combine it’s Android 1.6 with the X10 Mini’s UI rather than Sony Ericsson’s Timescape UI. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 targets price-conscious users looking for a stylish Android handset that doesn’t necessarily have to run the latest firmware.

HP has introduced a new AMD-based notebook a low power AMD Neo processor and Nile platform in Japan. HP adopted the Nile platform when it created the Pavilion DM1a ultra-thin laptop. The processor used in this instance belongs to the Athlon II line and is accompanied by a, more or less, unusual array of components, obviously optimized for power efficiency. The Pavilion DM1a Notebook is likely to carry a different name if and when it’s released in other countries.
