The BenQ G1 CameraBenQ, has officially announced BenQ G1 camera, the World’s Slimmest F1.8 Swivel-Screen Digital Camera. It’s a compact camera with 3 inch swivel LCD screen with VGA resolution, over 400 nits of brightness that make it clear view even under the outdoor sunand features Four State-of-the-Art Intelligent Technologies delivers high quality camera for capture sharper and clearer photos. Measures 114 x 62.5 x 25.5 mm with weighs only at 195g, the G1 camera is thinner than comapt camera on it’s class, such as Casio Exilim EX-ZR300 which has dimensions in 104.8 × 59.1 × 28.6mm.

The BenQ G1 offers  14-megapixel sensor and a 24-110mm equivalent lens and features an f/1.8-4.9 lens in wide angle mode and f/4.9 in telephoto mode. It backed by constructed from seven lenses in six groups and features optical image stabilisation with an advanced digital image processor and High-Speed Dual Core DSP to reduce power consumtion when capture continuously shot photos and Full HD videos recording. Peter Chen, EVP and General Manager of BenQ Technology Product Center said “Everyone in BenQ who worked on G1 showed great devotion to providing our customers a total imaging solution, and have proudly equipped this camera with an abundance of functions and features.

Other features are USB 2.0 compatible, Video / Audio Output (NTSC / PAL / HDMI), PictBridge compatible, Auto Flash, Auto Anti Red-eye, a mode dial with manual and semi-automatic shooting modes, Handheld Night Shot feature to take clear and vivid shots at night, BenQ’s unique MagiQ Filter, HDR-Art feature, Oil Painting Mode, a ‘Background Defocus’ filter and more. The General Manager also says if the company created the camera with colour enhancement support to gives a wide array of choices without compromising on the quality. However, no word on pricing at this moment, but we expected if BenQ G1 digital camera will be release at affordable price.
