Leica Camera AG just introduced their up coming a new new super zoom digital camera, called Leica V-Lux 3. The V-Lux 3 digital camera is boasts a 12.1 mega-pixel CMOS sensor with Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 1:2.8-5.2/4.5-108 mm ASPH. lens and offer wide range of focal lengths (equivalent to 25 mm wide angle to a 600 mm super-telephoto lens in 35mm format). Basically, the latest Leica camera is Leica’s version of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 that has been announced few month ago.
Designed for creative photographers looking for an all-in-one digital camera for almost all photographic situations, Leica V-Lux 3 camera comes with compact design that integrated handgrip keeps, 3 inch LCD display with support resolution of 460,000 pixel offering bright and clear view object and measures in 124 x 81 x 95 mm and weigh at 540 grams. The device also comes with integrated stereo microphone with an electronic wind noise filter delivering a crystal-clear audio recording, and has ability to shoot 1080p60 video in AVCHD format with 1920 × 1080 pixels and 60 full frames per second.
Other specification on the V-Lux 3 camera are 70MB of internal memory with support an SD/SDHC/SDXC card for expandable memory, USB 2.0 port, a microphone/remote jack, analog A/V output and mini HDMI, so it’ easy to connect your videos or photos into HDTV. Other features includes Light Speed, fast Auto focus system, aperture priority, shutter priority controls and pre loaded with Adobe Photoshop Elements for photo manipulation and Adobe Premiere Elements that designed for video editing and offers optimum features for processing videos recorded.
Leica V-Lux 3 Digital Camera will be available for purchase in Leica Camera dealers beginning January 2012. If you interested and palnning to purchase this device, the V-Lux 3 camera has higher price than the original Lumix DMC-FZ150 for cost at around $949 with two-year warranty, while DMC-FZ150 camera has price tag at $499 with one-year warranty.
