Review: AT&T LG Escape Android 4.0 Smartphone

AT&T LG EscapeLG Electronics USA and AT&T Inc has officially announced new Android 4G LTE smartphone, the Escape. AT&T LG Escape is great smartphone for entry to middle level users that looking for new inexpensive smartphone with decent performance. It comes with long battery life with good performance, impressive camera and support two 4G networks (LTE and HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul) make it a really impressive phone to consider.

LG Escape is one of the best budget friendly Android smartphone from AT&T. Running on Android versions 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system, this model also offers LG’s latest UI and full support with various Google Mobile Service, including GMaps, YouTube, GMail, Search and Android Play Market to costumized the phone with more than 600.000 apps, widget, games, books, video and more. At the press release, the company also say if the Escape Android smartphone will be hit the AT&T store and online on Septemeber 16 with price tag at $49.99 with a two-year contract.

Powered by dual core 1.2GHZ processor with integrated graphics engine and 1GB of RAM provides enough power and performance to handle basic mobile tasks. For multimedia storage, it will be built in 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot to expand memory space up to 32GB. For streaming video or web browser, users will be get fast AT&T 4G LTE networks, as well as HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul if you in out of LTE areas. “And on AT&T’s expansive network consumers can get the best possible experience with Escape by using its LTE capabilities to the fullest, ” said senior vice president of marketing LG Electronics USA, James Fishler.

Similars with ZTE Grand X IN, AT&T LG Escape will be sports 4.3 inch qHD In-Plane Switching (IPS) display with Gorilla Glass over the screen for protected from scratches and scrapes. The 5 megapixel rear camera on the back with support up to 4x digital zoom, auto focus and LED Flash offers brilliant photos and capable to shoot 1080p video record, while 1.3MP camera on the front is perfect for video communications with your colleagues or family. The rear camera also has great features, such as Time Catch Shot eliminates shutter lag, Continuous Shot and few shot modes, as wll as QuickMemo and new Skyfire Horizon for quickly aces to your favorite social netowrks sites.

Other specifications are stereo speakers with Dolby® Mobile surround sound, microUSB port, microSD card slot, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and 2,150mAh battery provides long battery life. No word on HDMI port, but LG say if user can share their multimedia content to other compatible device via Android Beam and NFC.
