LG has announced their up coming Optimus LTE Android smartphone in Korean and Canada market and now US verion of the device will be available to. Dubbed as LG Nitro HD, it’s will be release by AT&T and support 4G LTE with HSDPA 21Mbps support making the Nitro HD smartphone ideal for streaming video online, browsing or make video calls.
On the inside, the upcoming AT&T LG Nitro HD will be equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM that can be expandable via microSD slot and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread for operating system. AT&T Nitro HD Android smartphone is sporting big dispaly with a 4.5-inch True HD IPS touchscreen display with Multi-touch input method and support 1280 x 720 resolution. The device also packs with dual camera with a 1.3 MegaPixel camera on the front for video chatting and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection.
Like the original version, LG Nitro HD also comes with full range of connectivity. Here is microUSB v2.0, GPS with with A-GPS support, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP + HS, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, WiFi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. It’s also has HDMI port and DLNA support to connect or stream your content with other device or HDTV. LG also packs the Nitro HD smartphone with a 1,830 mAh battery that claims will be give long battery life.
As the newest Android smartphone, AT&T LG Nitro HD also pre loaded with Digital compass, Document viewer/editor, Stereo FM radio with RDS and comes with three sensors including Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Gyro sensor and Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. Unfortunately, there is no information about price or release date at this moment, but we suspect will be officialy introduced before the end of this year.
