Motorola and Verizon has some exciting new releases ahead according to a leaked roadmap that covers the rest of 2010, 2011 and some of 2012. The most interesting is Droid Pro / Droid 2 with global roaming capability on GSM and presumably HSPA. The first in the CDMA Android world.
The DROID Pro with a 1.3GHZ, a 4-inch screen, and global roaming with GSM support. Motorola will also release a phone with the style of a Q with keyboard but rocking Android 2.2.
The Samsung tablet has been been rumored for weeks but Motorola will also enter the tablet world along with a new version of Android, 3.0. This should hit in 2011, Feburary. Motorola and Verizon are also planning a “slab form-factor” device that resembles the old Motorola Q but packs a full touchscreen and Android 2.2.
that apparently looks a bit like a Motorola Q without the keyboard. Interestingly, we’ve recently been clued into a global roaming Motorola from a trusted tipster of ours with the codename “Venus” that’s slated to enter internal testing on the 27th of this month, so that lines up pretty nicely with this rumor but Venus could also be another global Android smartphone allegedly in the pipeline from Motorola and Verizon with the Droid Pro or Droid 2
