Google has officially launched the next Android device from the Samsung Nexus line of smartphone namely Nexus S. Google Nexus S is running on the latest version of its Android operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung Nexus S smartphone features a new and improved on-screen keyboard, better power management, integrated support for VoIP and Near-field communication (NFC), and much more.
Nexus S Gingerbread smartphone is powered by 1GHz Cortex A8 (Hummingbird) processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP camera with LED flash and video recording, 16GB of storage, GPS and Lithium Ion 1500 mAH provides 6 hours Talk time and 428 hours Standby time. Google Nexus S also the first Android smartphone to feature 4 inch AMOLED 400 x 800 resolution Contour Display designed to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand and along the side of your face.

the Google Nexus S will be available in US at Best Buy stores with unlocked and without a contract or with a T-Mobile service plan on December 16, 2010. The Nexus S also available after December 20 at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy retailers in the U.K.
