HTC has expanded their dual SIM android smartphone line up in Europe market with HTC Desire SV. Yeah, like Acer Liquid Gallant Duo, the Desire SV features dual SIM card slot that can work simultaneously, so you still can keep in touch with your friends or family in primary account and with your co-workers or business contact in secondary account without need to carry two smartphones. Beside that, you can also chose the cheapest network rates when you on traveling if you need to contact someone.
HTC Desire SV is a mid-range smartphone that brings a 1GHZ of Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor with 4GB of internal storage, 768MB of RAM and Adreno 203 as graphics accelerator provides well performance for basic mobile communications, such as send or recieve emails, playing Android games or web browsing. Pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system, the dual SIM smartphone also offer HTC Sense 4.1. To enhance memory space, the handset also has a microSDcard slot with support up to 32GB, as well as free 25 GB of Dropbox memory for two years, so you can access your photos or video from anywhere.
The 4.3 inch touchscreen display also uses super LCD2 technology for wider viewing angles and better brightness and vivid color than previous version. Reportedly, the display can produce 16 Millions colors with maximum resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Sadly, the SV model lacks front facing camera and only bring a 8.0 Megapixel rear camera for capture photos with BSI (backside illumination), 28mm wide-angle lens, Smart Flash and LED-Flash for capture photos and support 480p video recording at 30 frame per seconds.
Physically, Desire SV smartphone has similar design likes HTC 8X with iconic design but a little heavier and thicker with weighs at 131 grams and measures 129.74 x 67.9 x 10.7 mm, instead of 132.35 x 66.2 x 10.12 mm with weighs only at 130 gram on the 8X, as well as a stereo speakers with Beats Audio technology offers richer audio reproduction and stunning audio experience.
Other features are a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, G-Sensor, GPS, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, microUSB port and a Lithium Ion 1620 mAh battery. In term of connectivity, HTC Desire SV brings a Bluetooth® 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and works on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz with support 900/2100 MHz 3G network. Reportedly, HTC Desire SV smartphone will be arrive in Russia this month and other Europe market before the end of this year for price of 14,900 RUB or around €370.
