Sprint just officially unveiled the next generation of the EVO 4G, called the EVO 3D. HTC EVO 3D is has similar design with LG Optimus 3D and runs on on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with the HTC Sense user interface. Sprint EVO 3D is not only 3D smartphone with a glasses-free 3D display, but also can capture 3D content and shooting high quality 3D video. The device is support 1080p HD videos and 720p 3D HD videos via an HDMI port.
Sprint HTC EVO 3D smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon processor, a 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 450-pixel Autostereoscopic 3D display, 1 GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, Dual 5 megapixel rear facing camera with auto focus, dual LED flash and support capture 2D photos with up to 5 megapixel resolution and capture 3D photos with up to 2 megapixel resolution, front facing 1.3 megapixel fixed focus color camera and a 1730 mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery provide up to 450 minutes for talk time with up to 355 hours for standby time.
Other specification on the Sprint EVO 3D include 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, micro USB 2.0, Gyro sensor, G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, GPS navigation, FM Radio, multimedia file and measuring in 126mm x 65mm x 12.05mm with weight 170 grams (6.0 ounces) with battery. For connectiity, the device is offers Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and DLNA to share your content to TV or computer.
HTC EVO 3D also pre loaded with Google mobile service ( Gmail, Google talk, Google Maps), Blockbuster on Demand, Sprint apps (Sprint TV, Sprint Zone, Sprint Football, NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile, Sprint Radio), YouTube 3D and Android market for download more than 150.000 apps. Sprint will be launch the EVO 3D Android smartphone in this summer, but there is no word about price at this time.
