HTC has officialy unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2011 the next generation of HTC Incredible, namely HTC Incredible S. the Incredible S smartphone is designed with elegant contoured design and comes with full aluminium chassis and stereo surround sound for a vibrant cinematic experience. The device is expected will be release in Europe and Asia during the second quarter of this year.
HTC Incredible S is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU (instead 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8650), 768MB RAM, 1.1GB of built in storage, a 4-inch WVGA Super LCD display with a 800 x 480 resolution, 8-megapixel camera comes with dual flash and HD video recording (720p), a 1.3MP front facing webcam, digital compass, an accelerometer, G-Sensor, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, and runs on Android 2.2 OS with HTC Sense.
Other specifications of the device are 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, 5-pin micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, GPS, DLNA support, HTML browser with Flash support and works on GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz with UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz. Dimensions of the Incredible S Android smartphone are 4.72 x 2.52 x 0.46 inch and weight 135.5 grams (4.78 ounces) with battery.
The HTC Incredible S also support 3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv (Windows Media Video 9), aac, .amr, .ogg, .m4a, .mid, .mp3, .wav, .wma (Windows Media Audio 9) and 1450 mAh Lithium-ion battery that offer up to 580 minutes for talk time with up to 290 hours for standby time.
