First debuted at MWC 2012, HTC One X flagship smartphone now have a big brother with improving processor, longer battery life, larger storage capacity and updated in Operating System, called as HTC One X+. At the Press Release, the company also confirms if the new One X+ flagship smartphone will be support 4G LTE networks and available exclusively in AT&T, but no word on pricing or availability from AT&T or HTC currently.
Like its predecessor, HTC One X+ also comes with a polycarbonate unibody and minimalist design. The 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen display is able to playing 720p video playback and support a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, as well as Gorilla Glass 2 to protect the display from scratches and bumps. It also equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for face to face video chats and a 8 megapixel rear auto focus camera with f/2.0 lens, LED flash and supports touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection and new camera modes, such as Smart Scene, Smart Flash and HTC VideoPic for simultaneous image and 1080p video recording.
Speaking of hardware, the One X+ smartphone offers 67 percent faster performance than its sibling with a nVidia Tegra 3 quad core processor that clocked at 1.7GHZ, 1 GB of RAM, 200 percent larger internal storage with 64GB on board memory and latest Android 4.1 Jelly bean as the operating system with the latest HTC UI, HTC Sense 4+. CEO of HTC Corporation, Peter Chou said, “We are taking the HTC One™ X to a new level with the introduction of the new HTC One™ X+. Our customers will have super-fast browsing, an even better camera and more immersive entertainment with Beats Audio.”
As the statement from Peter Chou, the impressive phone also integrated with clear, crisp, deeper bass and loud speaker with Beats audio sound enhancement.The company also integrate the 4.7 inch Jelly Bean smartphone with the latest HTC technologies to enhance multimedia and entertainment experience, such as HTC Watch 2.0 to buy or rent latest movies, HTC Media Link share multimedia content to other device, HTC’s exclusive Music and more, as well as full access to download more apps, video, games and more in Android Play Market.
The first quad core LTE smartphone with Jelly Bean OS also equipped with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, microUSB (MHL) v2.0, audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS, bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, DLNA, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with HotSpot functionality. Reportedly, it works on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 and support AT&T’s LTE networks.
Weighing at 135 grams with a Li-ion Polymer 2100 mAh battery and measures 134.36 x 69.9 x 8.9mm, the One X+ is lighter but also thicker than the Optimus G which has dimension in 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5 mm with weighs around at 145 grams. The company also said if HTC One X+ Android smartphone will release in Europe next month and than Asia Market in November. So, what do you think?
