Review: LG Eclypse 3.5 inch Android Smartphone

A new budget friendly Android smartphone has introuduced in Canada Market and Bell, SaskTel and Virgin Mobile has confirmed if they will be soon release the device. Dubbed as LG Eclypse, the handset is especially designed for person that looking for a new smartphone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and that doesn’t break the bank. Bell and Virgin Mobile has confirmed if the Eclypse Android smartphone will be available around December 12th, 2011, while SaskTel only confirmed if LG Eclypse will be available soon.

LG Eclypse is mid end smartphon that works on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and sporting a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and offer 16 million colors. Physically, the handset comes in black color with a smoke-gray chrome rim around the edge of the display and measures in 0.51 x 4.77 x 2.49 inches with weighs 5.92 oz make it easily slip into your pocket or purse.

Under the hood, you will find a 1GHz single-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM, 1GB of internal memory with support up to 32GB microSD card slot for memory expansion and packs with 1500 mAh Lithium Ion battery that offer up to 9.5 days of standby time or up to 3.3 hours of talk time. On the back, you can find 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and capable 720p video recording and support for scene mode, white balance, resolution, ISO, and color effect.

In term of connectivity, the new LG 3.5 inch smartphone offer full range of connectivity option, such as 3.5mm Stereo headset jack, microSD/SDHC slot, microUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth for transfer data and 802.11b/g/n WiFi for wireless networking options.
