LG Mobile US and Sprint has announced their latest eco-friendly smartphone with Carbon-free and ULE Platinum certification, called as LG Optimus Elite. As the  eco-friendly device, the Optimus Elite smartphone is made of 50% recycled plastics, fully recyclable box and an RoHS compliant device that make it free from potentially hazardous materials, such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride), nickel, phthalates and halogens.

Sprint LG Optimus Elite is low to mid end Android smartphone. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 800 MHz single core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4096 MB ROM that paired with microSD card slot for expandable storage capacity up to 32GB and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system offer goodperformance for smooth and responsive multimedia tasking. User also get 50GB of free cloud storage until 22 July from Box, so you an store more musics, photos or videos.

According the press release, Sprint will be release the Optimus Elite smartphone for price at $29.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and 2-year service contract.
