LG has unveiled their L-Style Model Design Series at this week’s Mobile World Congress 2012 and now the company has officially introduced the first and smallest models that called LG Optimus L3. The compact and stylish Optimus L3 smartphone comes with Harmonized Design Contrast with metallic accents and Modern Square Style like other L-Style series.
Measuring in 102.6 x 61.6 x 11.85 mm with four colors options t meet your style, black, hot pink, white or blue, it can fit nicely in your hands or you can slip LG Optimus L3 into your pocket. Unfortunately, the 3.20 inches Capacitive Multi-touch screen LCD display only can produce maximum resolutions at 320×240 pixels and only offer a single camera with a 3 megapixels rear facing camera on the back for capture photos and video recording. No front facing camera, so you can’t make video callings.
As low end smartphone, the device will be powered by an 800MHz dual-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 150MB of internal memory and working with Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the operating system provides enough power for basic smartphone features, such as calling, check email or social network activities. Other spcifications are microUSB 2.0 slot, standart bluetooth, Accelerometer, HTML browser support, a 1500mAh battery, WiFi for wireless internet connections on HotSpot Area and working on GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz and UMTS 900, 2100 MHz.
“We think the Optimus L3 offers all of basic smartphone-related benefits but in a more premium package that hasn’t been seen before on a smartphone in this category,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. However, no word on princing, but according the configurations, LG Optimus L3 will be release with affordable price. On their press release, LG also confirmed if the Optimus L3 Android smartphone will be release in Europe later this month and than Russia, Asia, American and other market releases to follow.
