LG Optimus LTE 2 Review

Samsung has officially unveiled Samsung Galaxy S III and now they rival, LG also has released their LG Optimus LTE 2 in South Korea. Designed to be competitor for the Galaxy S 3, the Optimus LTE 2 smartphone comes with a glass metal casing with featuring 4G LTE connectivity and impressive hardware configurations provides excellent performance and capabilities to run smooth multi-tasking and multimedia and entertainment tasking.

Like the original LG Optimus LTE, the latest Optimus LTE Android smartphone series boasts a 4.5-inch True HD-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with multi-touch input method and support maximum resoultions display at 1280 x 720 pixels. It’s offer sharpness, image clarity and increases visual experience for videos and images and support HD 720p video playback. On the back, there is 8 MP rear facing autofocus camera with LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection and support 1080p video recording, while on the back you’ll find secondary camera allow users to make face to face video chats.

As the high end device, LG Optimus LTE 2 smartphone boasts 2 GB of RAM, Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, a large 2150 mAh battery which offer 40% longer standby time and talk time on single charge than similar smartphones and pre-installed with Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich as the operating system. Other features are HTML, Adobe Flash, GPS with A-GPS support, Predictive text input (Swype), Photo viewer/editor, Document viewer, support MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 video formats and MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ audio files. User also can download more than 450.000 useful applications, widget, games, wallpapers, videos, book on Google Play.

In term of port and connectivity, the LG LTE 2 equipped with microUSB v2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, DLNA, bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP plus EDR and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for wireless internet connections with support Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. LG Optimus LTE 2 Android smartphone will be available in South Korea this month, but no word on pricing or release date in the US, Europe or other major markets.
