New Android phone from LG, Optimus Q (LU2300) is ready to hit the South Korean market this coming weekend. LG Optimus Q Phone with Snapdragon processor in slider design and black shade is provided with many advanced features to make communication as well as entertainment fulfilled. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor is nothing short of speedy as evidenced by the handful of Android-powered smartphones in the market at the moment.
The Optimus Q LU2300 is a high-end device with Android 2.1 for operating system, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display (480 x 800 pixels), Accelerometer sensor, and 5 MP camera built in autofocus. For connecting this device supports networks of GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 / GSM 850, HSDPA, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and USB v2.0 2100. Class 10 GPRS and class 10 EDGE are data access options.
the LG Optimus LU2300 also comes with trackpad, LAN with 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm headphone jack, 3GB internal memory, 4GB bundled microSD card (supports up to 32GB), 1350 mAh Li- Po battery, and DMB TV.
Alert types provided in it include vibration and MP3 ringtones. This mobile phone is provided with 3.5 mm audio jack and speakerphone. The dedicated media player supports MP3, WMA, eAAC+, MP4, H.263 and H.264. FM radio and DMB TV tuner are additional features supported by the unit.
the LG Optimus Q should make some headway in the high-end Android market which is currently dominated by Motorola and HTC. LG already has a good business making featurephones in the United States – but can they expand to the smartphone market?
The LG Optimus Q will retail for around $758 in South Korea, with no word on whether it will arrive Stateside or not.
