T-Mobile and Motorola has announched will launch new Motorola smartphone running Android, named Motorola Jordan. In fact, the Jordan obviously a code name and not a tribute to the long retired NBA star Michael Jordan.
Motorola Jordan’s android phone features, which make the handset usable even when submerged 10 meters (around 33-feet). This Motorola Jordan smartphone also supposed to be IP67 certified, which means “no dust ingress, complete protection against contact” in IP code.
However, according to the code, that “7 in “IP67 means that “ingress of water in harmful quantity shall not be possible when the enclosure is immersed in water under defined conditions of pressure and time (up to 1 m of submersion)”, which does contradict the aforementioned claims of the Jordan being waterproof down to 33 feet.
According to BGR the Motorola Jordan should launch on T-Mobile in November. However, nothing is certain on its specs until the Motorola JordanAndroid smartphone is made official, and the same applies to the phone’s availability and pricing, though it might not be too long before T-Mobile and Motorola decide to make the announcement. this is only a rumor, but for folks used to dropping their phone in the toilet, talking on the phone while running in the rain, or getting pushed into a pool with all their clothes on- this could be the phone that saves the day.
