Nokia just introduced their up coming a 3.2 inch smartphone, called Nokia 500. The Nokia 500 features the latest of Symbian Anna for operating system with a refreshed UI that offer three customisable home screens and support 640 x 360 pixels of resolutions, finger touch control and 16 million colours in TFT display.

Nokia also announced if the new Nokia Symbian Ana smartphone is pre loaded with GPS with A-GPS receivers and support Nokia Maps with free car and pedestrian navigation, Compass and accelerometer for correct orientation of display and bearing, Proximity sensor, Ambient light detector and Flash video, so you can streaming video from internet or YouTube. To keep in touch with your friends or family, it’s also integrated with social network feed and a 5-megapixel camera on the back for taking picture and video recording in 640 x 480 (VGA), 640 x 352 (nHD), 176 x 144 (QCIF) at 15 fps.

The Nokia 500 is eco friendly handset which made of up to 60% recycled material with free of PVC, free of brominated, free chlorinated compounds and 100% recyclable materials. Measuring in 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1 mm with weight 93 g, the Li-Ion 1110 mAh battery on the handset provide up to 500 h (2G) / up to 455 h (3G) for standby time or up to 7 h (2G) / up to 5 h (3G) for talk time. In term of connectivity, the 3.2 inch Nokia 500 is packs with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack and you can uses the handset as data modem. This new Ana smartphone is unlock smartphone and support 3G network in AT&T’s and T-Mobile’s frequency bands that offer HSDPA up 14.4 Mbps with HSUPA up to 5.76 Mbps.

Nokia 500 is powered by 1 GHz processor, a 2 GB of internal memory with micro SD card slot to support external memory up to 32GB, stereo FM radio and pre loaded with WebTV widgets, Nokia Mobile Search and access to AVI Store for download the latest apps and games, as well as browse ringtones, themes and wallpapers. The Company plan to release the Nokia 500 in the third quarter of this year in two colors options, white and black, but the more colors options will be available soon in purple, azure blue, pink, coral red, orange and dark silver. The new Nokia 500 smartphone will be sell with starting price at 150 euros ($216). You can also get three different-coloured back covers in the box, so you can change the back covers of the device.
