Nokia C5-05 with Symbian OS S60 Specification and Price

Nokia just release their new low entry smartphone on Nokia’s European website, called Nokia C5-05. Like the other Nokia C series, the C5-05 (also known as Nokia c5-04 in Canadian market) have a candy bar form factor with several color scheme, includes Black Lilac, Black/Aluminium grey, White/Graphite grey or White Lilac and running on Symbian OS S60 5th Edition OS with support Software updates.

Physically, the Nokia C5-05 is similar with Nokia C5-03, but lack Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 3G support and lower camera with 2-megapixel camera with Geo-tagging, 2X digital zoom and support VGA recording at 15fps. Under the hood, you can find a 600 MHz processor paired with 128MB of RAM, 256 MB of ROM, 40 MB of internal storage with support up to 16GB microSD card slot for memory expansion and sporting a 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen display with resolution of 360 x 640 pixels and support Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Handwriting recognition.

The C5-05 Symbian smartphone also packs with microUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP + EDR, Integrated A-GPS receiver with Nokia Maps, GPRS Class 32, Class 32 EDGE, Stereo FM radio, universal 3.5mm audio jack and works on Quad band GSM 850/900/1800/1900. It’s also powered with BL-4U 1000 mAh battery that provide up to 11.5 hours for talk time or 25 days of standby times or 35 hours for Music playback. Dimension of the handset are 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm with weight only 93 grams.

Other features of the C5-05 mobile phone are Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 support, integrated with socila network site ( Friendstream, Facebbok, MySpace, Twitter), QuickOffice document viewer and has full access to Nokia Mobile Service, such as Ovi Store, Ovi Maps, Ovi Suite, Ovi Share, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Sync, Share on Ovi, MyNokia. Unfortunately, there is no information about price for this moment, but according to the configurations, Nokia C5-05 will be sold with prices ranging between 100 – 150 EUROS.
