Nokia has announced new Nokia smartphone from Nokia’s Xseries, namely the Nokia X2-01. The X2-01 is targeted for mid end user with candybar and QWERTY keyboard for message-addicted users and is aimed at those who can’t get enough of text messaging and status updates. the Nokia X2-01 Qwerty phone essentially a squared off version of the C3 and features the new Communities app which social networking integrates such as Facebook, twitter, access to Ovi Music store, and runs on Series 40 operating system.

Nokia X2-01 is boasts a 2.4-inch landscape oriented display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA), 0.3 megapixel camera, Internal memory Upto 55 MB, supports memory cards up to 8GB, Bluetooth A2DP with v2.1, GPRS, EDGE clas 32, microUSB, v2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Standard battery Upto 480 hours for standby and Upto 4 hours 30 mins for talk time.

The X2-01 Nokia also comes with FM radio with RDS, music player, Audio Player, and compatible with all GSM frequencies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) cellular networks. The Nokia X2-01 measures 119.4 x 59.8 x 14.3mm with weighs in at 107.5g and available for Silver, Red, Lilac, Azure, DeepGrey colors. Nokia X2-01 is will be starting sale in this quarter with price tag at €80 (about $110) unsubsidized.
