Verizon Wireless has announced the launch of new candybar touch-screen mobile phone, Pantech Crux Mobile Phone. The Crux Phone features Skype mobile capable and compatible with V Cast Music with Rhapsody. So You can download soundtracks and albums or sync playlists with a PC.

The Pantech Crux is boasts a 3 inch LCD touchscreen with 240×400 pixels of resolution, a 3MP camera with Smile detection and Mirror, microSD support for up to 32GB (it has 1GB internal memory already), Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB port, an HTML Web browser, and battery up to 5 hours in talk time, up to two weeks of standby.

The Verizon Pantech Crux also supports CDMA 1xEV-DO rev.0, MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA for music format, and pre-installs a virtual QWERTY keyboard and various widgets that offer easy access to social networking services like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

The Verizon Crux features include Home Key to quick access to main home screen or allows customers to easily switch between currently open applications, and enhanced messaging options, including text, picture, video and voice messaging, along with Mobile IM, Mobile Email, and Mobile Web Email.

The Pantech Crux offers sleek, simple, and affordable features plus the reliability of Verizon and has measures 4.30 x 2.30 x 0.50 (109 x 58 x 13 mm) with Weight 4.30 oz (122 g). The Verizon Pantech Crux be available online and in stores starting tomorrow, October 28th and will price $49.99 with a new 2-year agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate.
