Samsung just introduced their latest entry level Android smartphone that called Samsung Gem SCH-i100. The Gem SCH-i100 is a bar-style smartphone with Swype virtual keyboard, Integrated Social Hub via Samsung Hub that allows you to post photos, messages or emails to all your favorite social network sites with the touch of one button and access to over 100,000 Android apps for things like turn-by-turn GPS navigation and Google Maps.

Samsung Gem SCH-i100 smartphone is powered by an 800MHz processor, 124MB on Board Memory, Supports up to 16GB MicroSD card slot, 3.2 megapixel camera, and running on Google Android 2.1 Eclair operating system. The Samsung Gem Android smartphone is offers 3.2-inch WQVGA Touchscreen display that feature advanced anti-smudge, anti-scratch, and anti-reflective glass for easy to read and a joy to use.

Other specifications of Gem SCH-i100 Android smartphone includes Speakerphone, Bluetooth Capability, Embedded JAVA Games and also support for various types of music player formats i.e., WAV, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, and AMR-WB. Dimensions of Samsung Gem SCH-i100 smartphone are 4.48 x 2.18 x 0.48 inches with weighs 3.85 ounces and has power supply that offers up to 800 hours of stand by time and talk time up to 410 minutes. The Gem SCH-i100 Android Smartphone will be available in Verizon with black colors option.
