Samsung has official announced new member of Samsung Wave series smartphone with Samsung BADA platform called the Samsung Wave 575 (GT-S5750). This device is similar to the Samsung Wave 525 and Samsung Wave 533.
The main difference is Samsung Wave GT-S5750 support of 3G cellular networks (UMTS/HSDPA). Samsung Wave 575 is boasts a 3.2 inch WQVGA TFT LCD touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, 100MB internal storage, microSD card slot (with support for cards up to 16GB in size), Camera 3.15 MP support 2048×1536 pixels, an accelerometer, and runs BADA OS with the TouchWiz user interface.
Samsung Wave 575 GT-S5750 also packs with Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB v2.0, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Browser WAP 2.0/xHTML HTML, and Standard battery Li-Ion 1200 mAh. This smartphone also support MP3/WAV/eAAC+ for music player and MP4/H.263/H.264 for video player.
The dimensions of Samsung Wave 575 is 4.31 x2.17 x0.47 (109.5 x 55 x 11.9 mm) with Weight 100 g. Samsung Wave 575 will be available in three color options – black, white and black/pink and will appear in Sweden in mid-November 2010 and then in other European countries, Asia and China. Samsung has not made any Official announcement for the price for this device, though we do know that the Samsung Wave 525 and Samsung Wave 533 are both selling for €299 in Germany.
