Review: HTC Accord aka HTC 8X Windows 8 Smartphone

HTC AccordFew months ago, we have reportedly if the Microsoft and HTC has announced if they will be release HTC Windows based smartphone, the HTC Accord (also known as HTC 8X) and now the specs and features of the device has leaked. HTC 8X will be comes with impressive hardware specs and features and running on latest generations of Windows 8 as the operating system.

As the Windows based device, HTC Accord aka the X8 will be compatible with the common Windows applications, such as Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office and more applications that you usually used on your laptop. It will be powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor (perhaps use Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor like the HTC Vertex), integrated mobile graphics engine and 1GB of RAM. Inside, you’ll also find 16GB of internal storage, but no word on microSD slot for expanded storage capacity.

The 4.3 inch touchscreen display will be capable to playing 720p video content and support a native resolutions at 720 x 1280 pixels. On the front, it’s has front facing camera with ultra-wide angle lens for self portraits or video communications, while on the back you’ll find 8 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and an f2.0 28mm lens for capture high quality photos. Reportedly, the front and rear camera will capable to record 1080p HD video at 30 fps.

Like the One XL smartphone, this model has stereo speakers with Beats Audio technology that provides clear and crisp audio reproductions. Moreover, the Taiwanese smartphone also equipped with micro USB 2.0 port, 3.5m audio jack, microphone, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, NFC, microSIM and 802.11 b/g/n WLAN provides a reliable connection to a wireless network. HTC Accord aka the HTC 8X Windows 8 smartphone expected will be release in T-Mobile on November 14th, but there is no informations about pricing at this moment.
