Nokia will be release a the Nokia C7 model re-badged for the U.S. carrier, called T-Mobile Astound. The Nokia Astound is comes with a 3.5-inch AMOLED Clear Black Display (CBD) touchscreen display with 360 x 640 pixels resolution and will be launched on April with starting price at $80 on contract.
Like the Nokia C7, T-Mobile Nokia Astound is Candybar smartphone with powered by 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU, 8 GB storage, 256 MB RAM, dual camera with 8 MP camera with dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, face detection and VGA camera, Stereo FM radio with FM transmitter, Digital compass, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and runs on Symbian 3 OS.
Other specifications of the T-Mobile Astound includes up to 32GB microSD, microUSB 2.0, GPS with A-GPS support, TV-out, support Ovi Maps 3.0, Flash Lite 4.0, document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), measuring in 117.3 x 56.8 x 10.5 mm with weight 130g and has Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery provide up to 648 hours for standby time or Up to 9 hours 30 min for talk time. For connectivity, T-Mobile Nokia Astound is offer Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps, HSUPA, 2 Mbps and works on GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100. Unfortunately, this handset isn’t support T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network.
