Verizon Samsung Illusion Android Smartphone Review, Specification and Features

Verizon has confirmed if their up coming Android smartphone, called Samsung Illusion will be offered through Direct Fulfillment around November 23 and will be hit store on January 12th, 2012. Obviously, the Illusion is not a high end smartphone. It’s boasts 1 Gigahertz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor with 512 Megabytes of Ram memory and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the Operating system with Touchwiz UI.

Verizon Samsung Illusion comes with a unique curved display, lightly textured back and sporting a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen display by using a screen resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. Physically, it’s measures 4.51 x 2.37 x 0.47 inch with weight 4.02 oz and packs with integrated 3.0 mega pixel camera on the back with camcoder. You can share your photos, video or music via DLNA to other compatible device.

Verizon Illusion Android smartphone also equipped with 2GB on board memory that can expand up to 32GB via microSD slot (2GB includes), 3.5 mm audio jack, bluetooth stereo A2DP, 801.11 b/g/n WiFi to connect internet and a 1.500 mAH Li-Ion battery for long battery life.

Other features on the Samsung Illusion includes Quick Office for view and edit documnet, Adobe Flash support, integrated with your favorite social network site, Amazon Kindle Reader capabilities, hearing Aid Compability, Accelerometer, Compass and Mobile Hotspot capabilities with support up to 5 device. Like the other Android device, Verizon Samsung Illusion also integrated with Google Mobile Service (Gmail, Gtalk, GMaps, Latitude, Places, Navigation, Google ebook) and download more than 300.000 apps in Android market. Unfortunately, there is no information about price for this moment.
