HP today introduced a slim desktop PC, The HP Compaq 6005 Pro. The HP Compaq 6005 Pro Ultra-slim Desktop PC is far better than ordinary desktop computers out there. The 6005 Pro PC based on AMD technologies and is designed for business users. The desktop PC has a couple of interesting features including a very small footprint, one that is no larger then a sheet of paper. The Compaq 6005 Pro is lightweight enough to be mounted on the back of an LCD display screen.

The desktop features AMD Business Class processor technology, AMD 785G chipset and ATI Radeon HD 4200 DirectX 10.1 graphics card. HP reports that its newest Compaq series desktop offers business users energy efficiency, productivity and security in a small, sleek design. Measuring 10 inches high and 2.6 inches wide, the approximate size of a ream of paper, the 6005 Pro USDT can be easily connected to the back of a display using the optional HP Integrated Work Center, promoting a clutter-free workspace. HP 6005 Pro Ultra Slim also boasts Gigabit Ethernet, optional 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 1.2 TPM embedded security chip, a power supply with an efficiency of 87%, and D-Sub/DisplayPort outputs.

The 6005 Pro supports DASH , an industry standard for secure remote management akin to Intel’s vPro. The HP ProtectTools administrator console and end-user client offer friendly menus for implementing security functions such as encrypting the hard drive, managing passwords and credentials, and securely deleting files. HP Power Manager lets you enter your working hours and local electricity cost and tells you how much you’ll save by letting the program suspend the PC instead of leaving it running during downtime.
