Lenovo has intorduced a new all-in-one desktop (AIO) Multimedia PC last week at IFA consumer electronics show 2012, in Berlin, the Lenovo IdeaCentre A520. Comes with latest generations of Intel Ivy Bridge platform, the IdeaCentre A520 desktop PC will be running on Windows 8 as the operating system delivers the power that you need to handle and running office multitask and multimedia tasks. The company also said if this model also optimized with user friendly interface and ten finger multitouch support like the Windows 8 tablet.
Powered by second generations of Intel Sandy Bridge Core i3-3110M processor with clocking speed of 2.4GHz for low models and up to Intel Core i7-3820QM Ivy Bridge quad core processor that has clocking speed at 2.7GHz for ultimate performance. At the press release, the vice president of Idea product Lenovo, Wei Jun said if Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 offer more comfort, simplicity and responsiveness than the predecessor. The latest AIO PC product also designed for an optimal Windows 8 experience with Intelligent TouchPad, 10-finger multi-touch, Lenovo Cloud and acces Windows Store to download thousands of games, widget and other useful and multimedia apps.
Under the hood, it also comes with 8GB of DDR3 SDRAM, latest Mobile Intel chipset, integrated Intel HD graphics 4000 as graphics accelerator for base configurations and spacious of storage capacity with up to 1TB Serial ATA Hard Disk. For high models, the A520 Desktop PC also offers nVidia GeForce 615 discrete graphics to enahced graphics performance for professional, gamers or colleagues that need more graphics performance.
The 23 inch Full High Definition IPS LCD frameless touchscreen display capable to playing 1080p video content and support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The 23 inch frameless display measures 22.08 × 13.61 × 0.84 inches, while the base has dimensions in 13.26 × 1.25 x 8.29 inches. On the top od display, there is webcamera for video communications, as weel as stereo speakers built in with Dolby Home Theater v4 provides high quality audio reproduction. It’s will be supports accurate 10-point multitouch technology and users also can adjust the screen angle from -5 degrees to 90 degrees like a conb=ventional PC or HDTV.
Weighing about 9.8 kg (21.60lb), the AIO PC also equipped with optional Blu-ray Disc, few USB 3.0 port, multi in one card reader, HDMI (In and Out), Gigabit Ethernet LAN for wire connections and Broadcom 11b/g/n Wi-Fi wireless.
