LG Electronics (LG), the Korean based company just release new 3D monitor in Korea market. Dubbed as LG DX2500, the device is a glasses-free 3D monitor that offer combination head-tracking technologies with parallax barrier 3D to deliver true 3D experience. The DX2500 3D monitor is available now in South Korea for cost at 1.3 million won (around $1,150). It’s also will be release in other country next year, but there is no information about price for this moment.
LG DX2500 3D monitor is boasts 25 inc screen display using camera embedded to detect changes in the user’s eye and head position and than collected and calculates the angle and position user to ensure that the user gets the best quality 3d content when viewing the monitor. The device also capable of converting 2D content into 3D, so you can enjoy movies, photos and games in 3D version with one click.
“LG is taking glasses-free 3D monitors mainstream with the DX2500,” said Si-hwan Park, Vice President of the Monitor Division at LG’s Home Entertainment Company. “With the DX2500, we are making the LG brand synonymous with glasses-free 3D monitors. In 2012, we’ll continue to expand our range of glasses-free 3D monitors featuring different designs and advanced functions.” The new 25 inch 3D display from LG also has TÜV Rheinland certification for a glasses-free 3D monitor and support parallax barrier technology. With this technology, the LG DX2500 can show the 3D effects with no glasses needed.
