Review: LG Smart TV Upgrader ST600

LG Electronics has recently announced their upcoming Apple TV and HTC’s Media Link competitor that namely Smart TV Upgrader ST600. LG claimed that the  is enabling transforms regular TVs into Smart TVs with an affordable price. LG Smart TV Upgrader set to be officially unveiled at CES (January 6-9, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA) and will go on sale during the Q2’2011, but no details on the pricing have been released thus far.

LG Smart TV ST600 is basically a little box that plugs into your TV that offers access to all of LG’s Smart TV functions from language classes to games, including premium online content and Smart Share from global providers, as well as the best locally sourced shows and movies to suit users’ own tastes. You also can transfer content from yours Digital Living Network Alliance(DLNA) or other compatible devices for viewing on the big screen.

LG Smart TV Upgrader ST600 is powered by a BCM7615 processor, 384MB of DDR memory, 1GB of flash memory, Finger Touch RCU, LG Add-on Architecture + Web Browser, Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi, HDMI, and USB port that capable connect to computer mouse, flash drive, external storage. Dimensions of LG Smart TV Upgrader are 11 x 11 cm and you can also access LG’s premium content and stream, such as weather and news updates, among other things.
