After the Apple Iphone 6 #bendgate controversy comes the latest scandal that the Tech giants is facing today—the #hairgate. Some complains started to mushroom in September but it was not later than the first week of October that the controversy made it to the social media limelight. Dubbed as #hairgate, this latest complaint from Iphone 6 users said that strands of hair and beard get caught between the metal case and the glass straps.

The controversy started gaining attention when one community member at the 9 to 5 Mac posted a complaint in the website saying that “…my iPhone 6 Plus, keeps yanking out my hair when I’m making call. Initially I thought it was the hair sticking to the screen protector. But upon closer inspection, it was the seam between the glass and aluminum– hair gets stuck and when you try to free it out, it hurts. I believe it’s not only me.

It is difficult to determine whether the issue is true or not, but Twitter netizens were very quick to make #hairgate a rising social media trend, so much so that big media outlets have jumped on the issue. Soon enough, tweets about the #hairgate started flooding Twitter.
