Here, a big news for LG Android smartphone users. LG Korean has officially announces on their website if the company will be release an updated from the 4th generation of Android Ice Cream Sandwich to the latest generation of Google Android 4.1 that also known as Android Jelly Bean for few smartphone. Of course, not all Android Ice Cream Sandwich device will gets the update at the same time, but almost the latest LG Android device, such as LG Optimus G, LG Optimus VU, LG Optimus LTE II and more middle to high end LG smartphone line up will get the update.
On the press release, the company said if the updated will increase users experience. It makes you will get faster browsing speed, more useful applications, fast touch screen respond, Google Lucknow applications and more. The first device that will gets first upgrade is LG Optimus LTE II, the 4.5-inch True HD-IPS LCD smartphone with 2 GB of RAM and features 4G LTE connectivity. The device will gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS in November.
After that, LG Optimus G and Optimus Vu will be follow to get the update. LG Optimus G, the 4.7 inch HD smartphone with L-style design in plastic white casing and powered by a 1.5GHZ quad core processor hat paired with 2GB of RAM and integrated with a 32GB of internal storage will get Android Jelly Bean in the end of this year. According the press release, LG Optimus VU that shipped with a 5 inch IPS LCD display, a 1.5GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-cores processor and 8.0 MP rear camera with a 1.3 MP front facing camera will receives the Jelly Bean in the first quarter of 2013.
Unfortunately, LG did not mention when Optimus L9, LG Escape or other LG Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone will get the update. But, if you have a plan to buy new smartphone with Jelly Bean OS, you can check other smartphone hat already preloaded with Android 4.1 as the operating system, such as HTC One X+ or Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
