Samsung has announced will be release a portable media player PMP, the Galaxy Player YP-GB1 at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Samsung YP-GB1 is brings the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone functions without phone functionality and comes via a certification from DLNA and DivX that support Allshare DLNA service as well as 720p video playback.
Samsung Galaxy Player YP-GB1 is boasts a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4-inch touchscreen Super Clear LCD (TFT) instead of the SuperAMOLED screen on the Galaxy S display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixel, support external memory through microSD card slot, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB storage and has two cameras, 3.2MP rear camera and front facing VGA camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Player also offers GPS, a 1200 mAh removable battery and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo. Samsung Galaxy Player YP-GB1 Portable Media Player has features SoundAlive audio enhancing technology plus a T-DMB receiver, access to Android Market and Samsung Apps and a great system for getting content onto the device since iTunes is the default for many people.
