Acer has announced at CES 2011 two new laptops that called Acer Aspire 5750G and Acer Aspire 5253. Aspire 5750G is based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform and Aspire 5253 is based on the latest AMD E-350 processor with VISION Technology. Both of new Aspire notebooks comes with HD LED-backlit Acer CineCrystal display that allows consumers to share and enjoy full HD content effortlessly, and experience smooth and vivid DVD and HD video playback.
Acer AS 5253 is powered by AMD E Series accelerated processing unit with VISION Technology, 15.6 inches of high definition Acer Cine Crystal LED backlit display, ATI Radeon HD 6310 graphics, Up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, up a 320GB hard drive, optional Bluetooth 3.0, Acer FineTip keyboard, multi-gesture touchpad, Gigabit Ethernet, inbuilt microphone, HDMI port, and Media card reader.
Acer As 5750G is powered by Intel Core i7 (2630QM) quad-core processor with Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, 15.6-inch backlit LED display (1366 x 768 resolution), NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphic card that support DirectX 11 and NVIDIA Optimus technology, 4GB or 6GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard disk, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI port and Clear.fi Acer media sharing system for automatically detecting the other devices and connected to the wireless home network.
Aspire 5750G and Aspire 5253 laptop also equipped with Acer Crystal Eye 1.3 megapixel HD webcam that provides high-quality video chats and VoIP and integrated with 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi that supporting Acer SignalUp wireless technology. Acer Aspire 5253 will be available for U.S. customers in beginning Jan. 9, with starting prices at $449.99 while Acer Aspire 5750G has price tag at $899.99.
