ASUS Computer has announced their new U series Laptop which based on Intel Sandy Bridge processor, namely ASUS U43SD. The ASUS U43SD is eco-friendly laptop which features 100% natural and recyclable bamboo pulp and non-woven packing cloth with tensile strength rivaling that of steel. Designed with sleek brushed aluminum surfaces, the machine is offer elegant smoky brown bamboo exteriors exude an organic quality reminiscent on the display cover and palm rest.

ASUS U43SD eco-friendly Laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5-2410M or Core i3-2310M, a 14 inch LED backlighting display with 1366-by-768 pixels, Nvidia GeForce GT 520M graphics, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, optional 320GB/500GB/640GB/750GB disk drive, Built-in Speakers And Microphone with SonicFocus, 2.0 MP web camera and runs on Windows 7 Home/Basic/Premium/Profesional or Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate for operating system. Dimensions of the U43SD eco-friendly laptop are 34.4 x 24.1 x 2.00 ~3.18 cm with weight 2.14 kg.

For extending battery, the U43SD eco-friendly notebook is equipped with NVIDIA Optimus technology, ASUS Super Hybrid Engine and USB 3.0 port which offer up to ten times faster data transfers than the old versions. Other features includes Kensington lock, HDD User Password Protection and Security, BIOS Booting User Password Protection and Syncables software for ‘effortless syncing with a plethora of devices, including desktop PCs, other notebooks, smartphones and digital cameras. But sadly there’s no informations on pricing or availability for the ASUS U43SD Laptop.
