HP Elitebook Revolve Convertible Laptop Announced with 11.6 inch Display, Full Security and Portability, Specs and Features

HP Elitebook Revolve reviewYesterday, Hewlett-Packard Development Company in FRANKFURT, Germany has officially announced a new 11.6 inch convertible laptop that designed for business and professional user that needs a solid machine with portability and powerful performance, called as HP Elitebook Revolve. Like Gigabyte U2142 convertible laptop, the Elitebook Revolve also has a strong and solid hinge that makes the display can swivel and can fold down over the keyboard to transform the laptop into a tablet mode.

Of course, like other latest Hewlett-Packard machine, HP Elitebook Revolve also bring an impressive hardware configuration to gives ultimate performance. For the heart of the machine, this convertible laptop will be comes with the third generation of Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5 or Intel Ivy i7 “Ivy Bridge” platform and integrated with the latest Intel HD Graphics with support Microsoft DirectX 11 to enhance graphics performance, as well as the latest Microsoft Windows 8 as the operating system.

For storage, HP Revolve laptop offer up to 256GB Solid State Drive (SSD) with support Intel Rapid Start Technology that offers much faster to resume from sleep mode and load faster than a typical laptop hard drive. Comes with an alloy of aluminum and magnesium chassis with weighs only at 3 pounds and measures 8.35 inches x 11.22 inches x 0.8 inches, which mean it comfortable to carry around and ideals for travel companions. Reportedly, the machine will be bundled with a battery that offers more than 10 hours of battery life or up to 210 hours of standby on full charge.

The 11.6 inch touch screen display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, support a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, support  and built in 720HD web camera with internal dual-microphone array offer high quality face to face video communication. The full-sized spill-resistant keyboard also has backlit technology and bottom-case drain offer fast, secure and comfortable typing.

As we mention above, the Elitebook Revolve is designed for business and enterprise users, so this machine also offer full array of security, productivity and connectivity features, such as a TPM system, HP Client Security to provide protection at every layer, HP Global Series, HP ePrint software, HP Client Management solutions, secure NFC, Micro-SIM, USB 3.0 port, display port, microSD cards, audio jacks, 802.11b/g/n WLAN, optional 4G LTE broadband connectivity and more.

On the press release, Dan Forlenza, vice president and general manager, Commercial Managed IT Segment, HP said, “HP is committed to ensuring its Elite portfolio of tablet solutions will provide customers the features their employees need for maximum productivity, with a design they’ll be proud to carry everywhere they go, all without sacrificing the enterprise services and protection that take the headache away from IT.” Unfortunately, the company did not yet announced about pricing currently, but if you interested, HP Elitebook Revolve convertible laptop expected will ready for order in March 2013 for US potential costumer.
