Lenovo has announced their first thin and netbook based on an AMD Zacate chip namely Lenovo IdeaPad S205. The ultraportable IdeaPad S205 has dimensions 0.6 x 6.6 x 1.1 inches with weighs just from 2.2lbs and features DirectShare which easily synchronize files with another Netbook without internet connection, VeriFace face recognition for login to the Netbook and OneKey Rescue System which makes data back up and recovery simple.
Lenovo S205 Mini Laptop powered by an AMD Dual Core E-350 processor, 11.6-inch widescreen display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, AMD Radeon HD 6310 512MB discrete graphics that supporting DirectX 11, Up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, Up to a 750GB hard-drive, integrated 1.3 megapixel web camera, an island-style keyboard arrangement and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium Operating system.
Lenovo IdeaPad S205 netbook also boasts Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI ports, Stereo speakers, Optional embedded 3G and battery is rated at up to 8 hours. The Ideapad S205 ultraportable netbook will start shipping by March 2011 with starting price at $499.99 and choice of colors, including red, fuchsia, sky blue and black.
