Lenovo, a Japan based company just introduced their two new business notebook in ThinkPad Edge series, called Lenovo ThinkPad E425 and Lenovo ThinkPad E525. The company claims if both of ThinkPad E425 and ThinkPad E525 notebook has 13 percent slimmer than their predecessors with more soft matte-finish design and offer an anti-glare matte or glossy display.
New Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E425 and Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E525 laptop has similars premium features and specifications, the main difference only in the display size. The ThinkPad Edge E425 comes with a 14-inch LED widescreen display screen, while the ThinkPad Edge E525 comes with a larger 15.6-inch LED widescreen display. Both of them also pre loaded with island-style spill-resistant keyboard with support noise supression technology and Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64-bit for operating system with support Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience 2.0 optimization for Windows 7 PCs which promise of up to 20 percent faster boot up times.
The 14 inch Lenovo Edge 425 and the 15 inch Lenovo Edge 525 is powered by Up to AMD A8-3500M Accelerated Processing Units paired with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, AMD Radeon discrete-class graphics with dedicated video memory, up to 750 GB Hard Drive for storage, HD webcam with a digital mic with noise cancellation for video chats, DVD burner, USB/eSATA combo port, 4-1 media card reader and a battery which offer up to 6 hours of battery life on single charge. If the standart monitor is not enough for you, both of the machines also packs with HDMI port to connect with a bigger HDTV.
Like the other ThinkPad series, Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E425 laptop and the ThinkPad Edge E525 notebook also support DirectX 11 provide HD performance, VISION Pro Technology for efficient multitasking and mainstream application acceleration, Microsoft Office Starter 2010, Multitouch touchpad, ThinkVantage Communications Utility 2.0 and ThinkVantage Rescue and Recovery, a backup and recovery tool to help preserve your data and setting.
Lenovo ThinkPad E425 and Lenovo ThinkPad E525 will be release to the market on this month (August 2011) in heatwave red or midnight black colors with starting price at $549 for base onfigurations.
