Novero, the German based company has officially unveiled their an innovative convertible laptop, called as Novero Solana few days ago and now the device is appear at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Designed like the from magnesium for casing with silver trim and high gloss finish of the palm rest area and trackpad plus flip-rotating like Dell Inspiron Duo, but the Solana is thinner and lighter with only 21.5 mm thin and weighs at 1.3 kg.

Based on Mobile Intel NM10 Express chipset and Intel’s latest Cedar Trail architecture, Intel Atom® N2600 Cedar Trail dual Core processor that support Hyper-Threading technology and has clocking speed at 1.6GHz and coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM plus Intel ® GMA3600 IGP to enhanced graphics performance, Novero Solana convertible laptop provides enough power for basic office tasks and playing games.

For multimedia storage, it packed with 64GB SSD for base configurations and can be expanded up to 128GB SSD via a micro SD card, so you can store more photos, videos, document or programs on the machines. Sporting an 9.7 inch LED back-lit capacitive display with multi-touch support, the display capable to produce 1024 by 768 pixel resolutions plus support Intel’s Wireless Display Technology (WiDi) and HDMI port, so you can connect it with other entertainment device ro bigger HDTV.

Designed to give best of mobile entertainment, this convertible netbook also comes with two stereo speakers for best audio quality, 3 megapixel webcamera embedded on the screen with microphone for face to face video chats with your colleagues and preloaded with dual operating system than can switch depending on your need with a push of a button. The Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 32-bit is perfect for business work in netbook mode, while the Android Operating system is ideal for fun and entertainment.

According the product page, Novero Solana also offer completed internet connections with 802.11b/g/n WLAN that need Hot Spot area coverage and HSPA+ data modem with SIM Card slot that gives fasteter connections up to 5.76 Mbps for upload and up to 21Mbps for download, so you can stay connected to your business activities and colleagues wherever you go.

The company also claims if the Solana convertible laptop also compatible with Windows 8 OS when available and expected will be starting ship at the beginning of Q2 2012 for cost at €550 (approximately $740).
