Panasonic has announced the next generation of Toughbook S9, dubbed as Panasonic Toughbook S10. Like the other Toughbook series, the Toughbook S10 laptop is rugged laptop which capable to handle up to a 30 inch drop when running, 220 pounds of compression and packs with a spill-resistant keyboard so it can survive the bangs, bumps and spills of a hectic day.

Unlike the previous versions, Panasonic S10 rugged notebook offer better performance and capabilities in processor, graphics, memory, storage and battery for mobile professional users, such as up to 3.2GHz Intel Core i5-2520M vPro Processor with Intel Turbo Boost, 4GB SDRAM which can expandable to 8GB, 320GB 5400rpm hard drive for storage with support shock-mounted flex-connect and removable and powered with Longest Standard Battery Life with 12400mAh Li-Ion battery provide up to 12.5 hours of battery use.

Designed with magnesium alloy case, sporting 12.1 inch widescreen WXGA LED display with resolutions of 1280 x 800 pixels and measure in 8.3 (L) x 11.1 (W) x 0.9 /1.5 inch (H) front/rear with weight 3.0 lbs, the new S10 rugged business laptop more light than Lenovo X220 that wight at 2.2 pounds and almost similars with 13 inch Apple MacBook Air.
