Samsung Electronics America has announced at CES 2011 this week a durable and lightweight notebook, namely Samsung 9 Series laptop. 9 Series notebook constructed from Duralumin that offers twice as strong as regular aluminum on other competitorsand designed with sleek styling and sophisticated beauty of a premium sports car. The Samsung 9 Series is suited for work and entertainment for mobile professionals and hard workers.
The 9 Series is powered by Second Generation Intel CoreTM i5 Processor 2537M 1.40 GHz, 13.3-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright Plus display with 1366×768 pixels resolution, Intel HD GT2 integrated graphics, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 128GB solid state drive, (1.5W x 2) stereo speakers, 1.5 watt sub-woofer, and Lithium Polymer battery with features various charging settings, like a “Battery Life Extender Mode” and “Express Charging Mode that provide up to 6.5 hours of battery life.
For connectivity, the Samsung 9 series equipped with Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, WiMax, HFMI port, USB port and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System. the machine also has fetaures USB Sleep & Charge technologies and Samsung’s Back-up & Recovery Solution that allows users to create and restore back-ups of system data on the device, or on a network or removable storage device.
