Review: SunBook 10 inch Pixel Qi Netbook

Lake Forest-based Clover Systems has introduced the first 10 inch netbook in the world that comes with a Pixel Qi display, namely Clover System SunBook. The Sunbook netbook can use anywhere from pitch dark to viewed under direct sunlight, it’s mean you no longer need to fight for the darkest place in the office layout any more.

The new Clover System SunBook netbook capable to operate in two modes i.e full color for watching video, picture, or other media while turn backlight off (monochrome mode) is a E-ink display that offer E-Reader type high-resolution display and can reduce the power consumption in half, providing battery life up to 12 hrs. The machine also offers Nearly full sized keyboard with multitouch gesture support.

The new SunBook netbook is powered by Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz, a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 1GB DDR2, 250GB hard drive, 0.3 megapixel camera, weight about 2.91 lbs and runs on Windows 7 Starter for Operating system. For connectivity, Clover System SunBook is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Ethernet LAN, Multi Card Reader (SDHC, SD, MMC), three USB ports and Optional 3G and 4G module. SunBook netbook will be launch with price tag at $795.
