Acer ICONIA TAB W500 Tablet Review, Specs, Price, Release Date

Acer has announced their upcoming tablet PC namely ICONIA TAB W500. Acer ICONIA TAB W500 is a 10.1-inch tablet with an innovative design, a full-size chiclet docking keyboard for user-friendliness of the tablet with the familiarity of the PC. The Acer ICONIA W500 tablet is expected will be release in early April 2011 with starting price at 499 euros or £529 inc Vat with chiclet keyboard.

The ICONIA TAB W500 Tablet PC is powered by a dual core AMD C-50 Ontario processor with AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics, a 10.1 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 1280 x 800 resolutions, up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 32GB solid state disk, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Dolby optimised audio, 2-in-1 card reader, 3-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit Operating System.

For connectivity, the device is offers 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR, 3G, Ethernet port for fast Internet connections, USB 2.0 port, mini SIM, support Flash 10.1, and support HDMI port with Clear.fi to share your photos, music and videos to other device. ICONIA TAB W500 has weight of 970g and has the docking keyboard weighs 610g.

Acer ICONIA TAB W500 Tablet has features Acer Ring that offers access to aunch Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, Clean Disk to manage and optimize disk space, Device Control to fine tune the tablet settings, Snipping Tool to quickly select, tag and clip screen images, and TouchBrowser for search, open, resize, select content from the web with the tips of your fingers.
