The French Electronic company, Airis has announced the new Windows Tablet that called the Airis Slimpad. The Slimpad Windows Tablet is powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and running on Windows 7 Home Premium for Operating System. Airis Slimpad is another such tablet that aims to knock the iPad or Galaxy Tab off its perch and will be available with starting price at €600 to 800 — or roughly $800 to 1050 U.S.
Airis Slimpad Windows 7 Tablet is boasts an 11.6-inch capacitive multi-touch TFT HD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 1GB of DDR2 memory, Intel GMA 500 integrated graphics, 32GB solid state drive (SSD), 1.3MP camera, and a Mini HDMI port to connect an external monitor or TV. Other specifications of Airis Slimpad Windows tablet includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth, stereo speakers, SDHC card slot, two USB ports, a 4800 mAh standart battery and measures 288 x 190 x 14 mm with weight 850 grams.
