Archos 97 Titanium HD reviewThe French based company, Archos has officially unveiled their first 9.7 inch Android tablet that features Retina resolution Display, called as Archos 97 Titanium HD. Like the Novo 9 FireWire and Cube U9GT3 Cherry tablet, this tablet offer ultimate viewing experience for play latest modern games, watch video or streaming on YouTube and bring same Retina-like pixel density likes the popular iPad. Of course, it also has cheaper price than Apple tablet.

Yeah, Archos 97 Titanium HD tablet offer same viewing experience like the Apple’s tablet, but inside it’s has a lower configuration. Powered by a 1.9 GHZ ARM Cortex A9 dual core that paired with a 1GB of RAM, integrated ARM Mali 400 graphics as graphics engine and preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system processor provides more than enough performance and power for productivity and play.

The device is a sleek, slim and stylish tablet. Weighing only at 640 grams and measures 240 x 184 x 9 mm, the Titanium HD tablet fells light and comfortable in your hand. It’s also thinner and lighter than Archos 97 Xenon Tablet that measures 248 x 188 x 11.5 mm and weighs at 650g (22.9 oz). The 8GB of flash memory also backed by microSD card reader, so you will get up to 64GB of extra memory space to store the video, music or document files.

It sports a 9.7 inch IPS capacitive touch screen display with 10 point touch support, wide viewing angles and can produce maximum resolution display of 2048 x 1536 pixel. On the back, the 5.0 megapixel rear auto focus camera is perfect for capture photos and video recording, while the 2.0 megapixel front facing camera with internal microphone offer clear and bright Skype video calls.

As a multimedia and entertainment tablet, the latest Archos 9.7 inch Jelly Bean tablet also equipped with a dual stereo speakers and support multi format of multimedia files, such as  JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF for images,  MP3, WAV (PCM/ADPCM), AAC3, AAC+ 5.13, OGG Vorbis, FLAC for audio files and AVI, MP4, MOV, 3GP, MPG, PS, TS, MKV, FLV. The Lithium Polymer battery also provides few hours of battery usage on full charges.

Moreover, the Archos Retina tablet comes with a G-sensor, audio jack, Micro USB 2.0 port, a standard 802.11b/g/n WLAN for internet connection and has full access to Google Mobile Service, including GMail, YouTube, Google Drive and Android Market Store.
