First officially announced in August this year, Archos GamePad will be boasts a 7 inch capacitive touch screen display and integrated with a Mali 400 MP Quad Core graphics as graphics accelerator with support 3D OpenGL delivers clear, crisp and vivid color for images, video and 3D games. Like the Kindle Fire from Amazon, the Archos tablet provides 16 million color with 5 point muli touch capabilities and support maximum resolution display at 1024 x 600 pixel. To enhanced viewing experience, you can also connect and enjoy the games or video on your HDTV, thanks to mini-HDMI port.

Inside, the dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor has a base clock speed of 1.6GHZ, paired with 1GB of RAM and preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system, the games console offer more than enough power and graphics performance to run smooth multimedia applications, web browsing, streaming video and playing Android and 3D games. For storage, buyer will gets a 8GB of onboard memory space and backed by microSD card slot for memory expansion with support up to 32GB (free 5GB Google Drive storage). Sadly, it only has a front facing camera for face to face video chats and lacks rear camera for capture photos and video record.

Physically, the GamePad  console has a 12 facial buttons with two analog thumb-sticks and measures 229.8 x 118.7mm x 15.4mm (9 x 4.6 x 0.6 inches) with weighs only at 330g (11.6 oz), which mean this device is easily to slip into your pocket and feel comfortable in the hand. Bundled with a Lithium Polymer battery for power supply, the Archos game console will be equipped with a USB 2.0 port, microSD with SDHC compatible slot, mini HDMI port and WiFi 802.11b/g/n for internet connection.

Other features are an unique mapping software to enhanced gaming experience, G-sensor, stereo speakers, ARCHOS Media Center apps and full access to Google Mobile Service, such as GMail, YouTube, Google Talk, Google Maps and download more apps and games in Android Play Market.
