Asus has presented in CES a new tablet that called Asus Eee Pad MeMo tablet. Eee Pad MeMo tablet is running on on Android 3.0 Honeycomb and designed with cloud computing in mind, which will make a great ultra-portable tablet. Asus MeMo tablet features Media Note combining a notes app that offers hand writing capabilities, Painter apps that offers pressure sensitive painting app, and a separate Bluetooth-based MeMIC media phone extender for receiving calls.
The Eee Pad MeMo Honeycomb tablet is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8260 processor, 7-inch IPS multi-touch screen with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 5-megapixel rear module used for conferencing, front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera used for video calls, 1080p playback support, Wi-Fi connectivity, a Micro-SD card slot, and a HDMI port allowing you to connect the tablet to large screens to view media.
The ASUS Eee Pad MeMO Android tablet is expected available in market sometime around June 2011 with starting price between $499 and $699.
