ASUS has gives more informations about their upcoming Asus Transformer Pad 300 at MWC 2012 in Barcelona. Designed from plastic for body with patterned for a better grip, the Transformer Pad 300 tablet will be release in three colors options to meet your style, white, blue and red.

Physically, it’s not the lightest and slimest tablet on the market today, but with measures in 263 x 180.8 x 9.9 mm with weighs at 635g, Asus Transformer Pad 300 tablet is still thinner and lighter than previous versions and only 34g heavier than the Wi-Fi iPad 2. Like the Eee Pad Transformer, It also support an optional keyboard dock, so user can also switch the device into tablet or notebook and get more battery life up to 15 hours when the keyboard dock connected instead of the 10 hours without keyboard.

Under the hood, ASUS PAD 300 series will powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core 4-PLUS-1 platform that has clocking speed at 1.6GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM plus running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich as the operating system, new ASUS tablet will be deliver enough power to run daily tasking or multimedia tasking. It built in with 16GB of internal memory to store your music file or document, bot no word on microSD card slot to expanded storage capacity.

ASUS will be packed the device with a 10.1-inch LED backlit IPS display with 10-finger multitouch support, viewing angles of 178 degrees and has a native resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels provide great viewing experience when you streaming video, TV Shows or playing Flash based games. To optimized multimedia and entertainment experience, the 10.1 inch tablet featuring stereo speakers with support ASUS SonicMaster technology provide stunning audio quality and dual camera with a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera with microphone for easy self portraits and video conversations plus 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera on the back with a lightning fast f/2.2 shutter to capture images and capable to shoots 1080p video recording.

Like other Asus tablet, the Transformer Pad 300 also equipped with electronic compass, orientation sensor, light sensor, Bluetooth 3.0 allows electronic devices to communicate wirelessly, WiFi to connect internet in Hot Spot area and support 3G plus LTE network. However, no word on princing and availability for Asus Transformer Pad 300 tablet at this time, but we expected the device will be cheaper than ASUS Transformer Prime.
