The California-based company, bModo has unveiled its PMD (Personal Media Device) tablet offering called the bModo12. the bModo12 tablet powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor and preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System.
The bModo12 Personal Media Device tablet boasts a 11.6-inch capacitive touch-screen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a discrete 1080p video accelerator, an Intel GMA 500 integrated graphics, 32GB solid state drive, 1GB Memory, 1.3 megapixel camera, OMTP connector, and a 4800 mAh battery provides up to 5 hours of usability.
The bModo12 PMD tablet also packs with a lot of connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, 7.2Mbps HSPA, 3G, dual USB ports, an SD card slot, HDMI output, and a SIM card slot. Cram a SIM card into that SIM card slot and you can get 3G connectivity.
The bModo 12 tablet also has a front facing VGA webcam with a mic for video conferencing and chat capabilities. The device also an integrated with docking port and will be ship early 2011. The bModo12 PMD tablet will be available in U.S before Christmas season and has price of $699.
